Partial Dentures

A comfortable, natural-looking solution for replacing missing teeth — while keeping the healthy teeth you still have.

What Partial Dentures Are

Replacing what's missing — while preserving what remains.

If you haven't lost all of your teeth but still need to replace multiple missing ones, partial dentures may be the right solution for you. A removable partial denture is used when one or more natural teeth still remain in the upper or lower jaw — it fills the gaps created by missing teeth while keeping your remaining natural teeth intact.

Partial dentures are made of replacement teeth attached to a gum-colored plastic base, often supported by a metal framework that clasps to your remaining natural teeth. Like complete dentures, it is also possible to have a more permanent option cemented into place if that better fits your needs — we'll walk you through all the options.

The benefits go beyond aesthetics. Partial dentures restore your ability to chew comfortably and speak clearly, maintain the shape of your face, and — importantly — prevent your remaining teeth from drifting out of alignment over time. We custom-fit every partial to match the color and shape of your natural teeth, so the result looks seamless.

The Process

What to Expect When Getting Partial Dentures

From your initial exam to picking up your finished partial, here's how the process typically works.

1

Exam & Treatment Planning

We evaluate your remaining teeth, gums, and jaw to determine the best type of partial for your situation. We'll explain all your options — including whether a fixed option might suit you better — and confirm a clear plan before moving forward.

2

Impressions & Fabrication

We take precise impressions of your mouth and work with a dental lab to fabricate your partial denture. The replacement teeth are matched to the shade and shape of your natural teeth so the result blends seamlessly into your smile.

3

Fitting & Adjustments

Once your partial arrives, we fit it and make any refinements needed for comfort and bite. We'll walk you through care and cleaning, and our team is available if you need adjustments as you get used to wearing it.
